Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you request a quote, subscribe to studio notes, or contact us, we collect only what you give us — typically your name, email, phone number, suburb and project details. We do not collect sensitive personal information.

How we use it

Your details are used solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, schedule a consultation, and — if you subscribe — to send occasional studio notes. We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Who we share with

We only disclose your information to the people delivering your project (our installers and, where relevant, your nominated designer or builder), or where required by law. Any contractor we engage is bound to keep your details confidential.

Storage & retention

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to service your project and meet our warranty and tax obligations, then securely deleted. We take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from studio notes at any time. Email hello@northwindflooring.com.au and we'll action it promptly.

Terms of Service

Quotes & estimates

Quotes are based on the scope, materials and site conditions assessed at the time of measure. Variations discovered on site (subfloor remediation, moisture issues, access constraints) may affect price and timeline; we will confirm any change with you in writing before proceeding.

Materials & samples

Timber and natural-stone products vary in grain, tone and figure. Samples indicate character, not an exact match. Final material reads as the room and its light dictate — this is a feature of premium natural flooring, not a defect.

Installation & access

We ask for clear, powered, weather-tight access to the work zone for the scheduled duration. Timelines assume materials arrive on the agreed lead time and site conditions match the measure. We start when we say we'll start and finish when we say we'll finish, barring agreed variations.

Warranty

Workmanship is warranted for 25 years and solid-timber structure for the life of the floor, subject to following the care guidance we provide. Warranty excludes damage from water events, abuse, unauthorised refinishing, or building movement outside our control.

Payment

A deposit confirms your install date and orders materials. The balance is due on completion and handover. All prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
